In this presentation Martin White sets out the business case for ensuring that your organisation has made an appropriate level of investment in both search technology and a search support team, based on his Search Check search benchmarking methodology.
Martin White has been involved in the search business since the mid-1970s. He set up Intranet Focus Ltd in 1999 and specialises in intranet and information management strategy development. Martin has been a Visiting Professor at the iSchool, University of Sheffield since 2002. He has written two books on enterprise search, and is in the process of writing a book on enterprise search for O’Reilly Publishing. He is the Chairman of the Enterprise Search Europe conference.
